Our story begins with Dr. John Morgan and a vision—a vision to make research with people faster, better, and more relevant. Dr. Morgan spent more than 20 years spearheading customer research around the world for IBM, beginning with building IBM’s first usability lab in Atlanta in 1980. In 2001, Dr. Morgan, Eric Holtzclaw and Kevin O’Connor founded User Insight, a firm completely dedicated to customer research for businesses to unlock product and service potential. We’ve conducted hundreds of thousands of in-person, customer interviews over the course of 10 years.
Over time, our knowledge and skill sets have evolved, allowing us to consult with our clients on both design and research unveiling their customers’ behaviors and motivations across industries.
